How should I use StaySafe™ Endotracheal Tube?
Note that only medical professionals should use this medical device. Start by using aseptic technique, test the cuff by fully inflating it and making sure that it does not leak. Prior to intubation, ensure that the cuff is deflated completely. After intubation, inflate the cuff using the minimum volume of air required to provide an effective seal. Immediately after cuff inflation, auscultate both lung fields. In the event that breath sounds are diminished over one lung field or absent over one or both fields, adjust the tube as required. Finally, endotracheal tube placement should be confirmed by viewing the position of the tube tip with a chest radiograph.
